Michael Salmon, President

Michael Salmon is the founder and CEO of Salmon Academy, one of the nations’ foremost content, training, coaching and sales consulting firms. Michael’s breakthrough concept of SuperNetworking ™ methodology was developed over the course of his three decades of leadership improving sales, marketing, and management processes for both publicly traded, Fortune 500 and privately held companies.

Michael has won recognition as an expert on the subjects of networking, sales, coaching and consulting. He was a keynote speaker at the last COMDEX between Bill Gates and Scott McNealy. A much sought after speaker, he has been featured on FNC “Fox & Friends,” CNN, Bloomberg, NBC “Weekend Today in New York,” and CBS “Weekend Morning Show.” His comments have appeared in such national publications as Reuters, USA Today, Investor’s Business Daily, L.A. Times, and Chicago Tribune. Michael has authored four books: Winning More Business in Financial Services; How to Score Big With Referrals and SuperNetworking™ for Athletes: Real World Ready for Life (Amazon 2019), Networking (McGraw-Hill 2012), SuperNetworking™ for Sales Pros (Career Press, 2005), and SuperNetworking™ Access the Right People, Build Your Career Network, and Land Your Dream Job-Now (Career Press, 2003).

A graduate of Northeastern University, Michael started his career at Pinkerton’s, a Fortune 500 Company. He also served as Director of Sales & Marketing for UGL-UNICCO and later became the VP of Sales & Marketing at First Security. Michael often worked with placement firms when staffing his own departments and saw how the best in the industry conducted business. He combined those best practices with the blue chip service delivery model developed over his many years in business when he ultimately founded his own company, Berkshire Staffing. After Michael sold Berkshire to a major national staffing organization he decided to focus exclusively on teaching the networking program he perfected over time. Prior to launching SuperNetworking™ Academy.

Matt Grady, Director of Operations

Matt is a passionate, enthusiastic relationship builder and connector. Throughout his entire career Matt’s innate skills took what SuperNetworking was about and leveraged his connections to move up the ladder in college athletics. Matt coached Division I High level College Basketball for 20 years at Louisville, Cincinnati, Murray State, Manhattan, Morehead State, & New Mexico State. Matt won multiple conference and tournament championships along with competing in numerous NCAA tournaments - ranked #1 overall team nationally & along with advancing to the Elite 8. Matt has been nominated & Participated for several years in Top Connect Symposium - recognizing the TOP asst. Basketball coaches nationally. Also, he’s held positions as Athletic Director @ Cardinal Hayes HS - Bronx, NY. Matt is married to his wife Janice. They have two children, Benjamin (7) & Emma (5) and currently resides in New York City. Matt graduated from St Joseph’s University BS in Finance and played on the JV basketball team as well.

Mike Jarvis, Ambassador, Head Coach

Mike Jarvis is a legendary basketball coach, author, and inspirational speaker. In his first head coaching job he led his Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School teams to three consecutive state championships with an almost perfect record of 77-1, while coaching and mentoring future Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing.

 In 25 years as a Division 1 men’s basketball coach Mike guided Boston University, George Washington, St. John’s, and Florida Atlantic to 14 post season tournaments and trips to the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight during March Madness. Coach Jarvis and Michael Salmon worked together with student athletes at every stop preparing them for life after bouncing balls. In 1997 Coach Jarvis was elected President of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and a year later he was named ‘National Coach of the Year’ by the Black Coaches Association and ‘Father of the Year’ by Ebony Magazine. Coach Jarvis ended his high school and collegiate coaching career with an overall head coaching record of 684–351.

 Coach Jarvis has written three books, ”Skills for Life”, ”Everybody Needs a Head Coach”, and “The Seven C’s of Leadership” and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary where he teaches Leadership Skills. He and his wife Connie have a son Michael II, a daughter Dana, five grandchildren, and reside in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Thomas Ryder, Head of Coaching

Thomas Ryder brings more than 20 years of experience in the areas of: executive search, training, coaching sales and business development experience. As a recruiter, Tom has placed hundreds of people in their field of interest. He is also an expert in client acquisition, business prospecting and demand generation. Tom has been instrumental in helping to manage client relationships and in training and coaching thousands of professionals and sales executives to become exponentially more productive in their careers. His lead-by-example style and now famous “live-calling” demonstrations have had a powerful impact on his clients’ business success, including Merrill Lynch, HP, VMware, Microsoft, among hundreds of other companies. Tom continues to lead with his proven track record, regularly exceeding his client’s revenue goals. Tom worked for Michael at Berkshire Staffing and was a coach for him at Career Training & Coaching. He has been with Salmon Academy for ten years. He is a graduate of Stonehill College.

Bryan Bundy, Head of Training

Bryan Bundy is a proven professional with 25 years of professional expertise in sales, client relationships, training, mentoring and education. His career includes a proven track record of exceptional results, spanning industries including service, healthcare, information technology, workforce capital, and at-risk childhood education.

Bryan is a leader with a verifiable track record professionally and personally. Bryan was an accomplished college athlete, playing soccer at Ohio Wesleyan University where he continues to hold multiple school records. He lead the nation in goal scoring his Senior year and was inducted into the Ohio Wesleyan Athletic Hall of Fame in 1993. 

Over the years, he has built and cultivated strategic partnerships and relationships in sales, executive management, operations, teaching, training, and coaching. He has an extensive history working with businesses of all sizes with client specific, unique, and innovative solutions with the ultimate goal of 100% client satisfaction. His knowledge, results-oriented and history of success provide him with the ideal background to help support young athletes as they transition into the workforce.

Bryan was born into a family that modeled service to others. His father was a three-sport athlete at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and a first-generation college graduate. His parents taught him the importance of considering the needs of others, not just your own. Though he has held many professional titles during his career, his favorite personal title and the one that brings him most joy is that of Father.
